At the Art basel Design Miami Luminaire and Christie's presented "Puppy Love" – Puppies Against Cancer. 36 designers, artists and architects has got the assignment to convert a 3D plastic puppy into a unique creation. In Miami four of the designers creation were placed in an auction possible to place bids on until yesterday’s evening. The four designers presented was Arne Quinze (speaker at this year’s FutureDesignDays), the Campana brothers (speakers at FutureDesignDays 2002), Elke Walter and Piet Stockmans. Among the other designers we recognize names such as Konstantin Grcic, Ross Lovegrove and Marcel Wanders (all speakers at FutureDesignDays 2003).

All of the proceeds from the auctions benefit Miami Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center to fund research in cancer.
