The design and interior trend is strong and the line of business is self confident. This became clear during Stockholm Furniture Fair last week. As always the C hall was the most appreciated part of the fair with the brands in the public sector. Here was the self-confidence and the forward thinking present. Still the news was remarkably few. The news was to be found in the Green House. A strong line-up made up by schools and unestablished creators made this part of the fair really interesting. Worth mentioning is the intense pink-coloured showcase of HDK’s (School of Design and Crafts at Göteborg University) containing several very exciting concepts. The greatest dissappointment was the B hall, with an unusually weak line-up. The one interesting showcase standing out was signed Konsthantverkarna.
