Home HISTORY Event 2006: share – the power of collaboration
Design from a female point of view

We just read in the paper Dagens Media (Media of Today) that the Swedish fashion designer Camilla Thulin and the evening paper Aftonbladet’s Åsa Mattsson among others, are about to launch a new web site for women. The site, called Salong K, will keep an eye on news from different areas from a female point of view. There will also be chronicles by well-known writers on the site every day. Since Camilla Thulin is one of the founders and financiers, we hope and guess that Salong K will highlight progressive and innovative female designers. Cause sometimes, we just get fed up of old men presenting just another Arne Jacobsen look-alike-chair. Of course FutureDesignDays wishes Salong K good luck, (www.SalongK.se will hopefully open in the middle of March).
