Last Friday saw the premiere opening of Kungsgatan – a new fashion store downtown Borås. The store presents unique garments created by the most talent fashion designers of the famous School of Textiles at the University College of Borås (former co-organisers of FutureDesignDays). The store is initiated by students of the school to promote students’ work. The store has already caught a lot of attention and the word is spread all over the world through numerous blogsites. FutureDesignDays fully support the initiative and wish good luck! And of course, we were proud to see that there were lemmings in the opening display of the store. Lemmings from the theme exhibition of FutureDesignDays 2005. They are everywhere to take part in different design happenings. As you probably know they where also part of the Christmas displays at NK in Stockholm (we still wonder how they got there).
