In 2004 Matilda Tham was an appreciated speaker at FutureDesignDays, together with Göran Sundberg. They spoke on the subjects “The fashion designer as a drug dealer” and “Fashion fear factory”. Fashionnet.se now reports that Matilda will be adjoint professor on fashion, at Beckmans College of Design, from this autumn and on. She used to be a student at Beckmans and graduated in 1994. Since then she’s studied at Parsons and Fashion Institute of Technology in New York. She also has an MA in Design Futures at Goldsmiths College in London. Matilda Tham used to work as a trend analyst and advisor for PR, Design and Marketing agencies. In the next few months she will present her dissertation on strengthening the environmental work in the fashion industry. She is also one of the initiators to the fashion concept Curious Colour, together with Martina Norell.
