Naoto Fukasawa will forever be remembered for his highly entertaining speech at FutureDesignDays 2005. Right now he is present as the curator of an exhibition called ”Chocolate”. The exhibition is held at the new design centre of Japan: 21_21 Design Sight by Issey Miyake foundation. Some 30 creators contribute to the exhibition including more than 70 works – among them the Changing Vase made by the Swedish heroes Front Design. It’s a vase made of chocolate and five layers of metal foil. When you choose to tear one layer off, to get closer to the brown deliciousness, a new one appears. All layers have a unique print and the expression of the vase change every time you tear a layer off. Watch Front’s own inspirational video.
