Monday evening 13 November will see the Design Award Ceremony in the Blue Hall. It’s a Reception with buffet hosted by the City of Stockholm. The winners of this year’s prestigious FutureDesignDays Award will be in the centre of attention and receive the prize cheque during the evening. The nominees are Cheap Monday, Folkform, Råvara/Kvarnen and Marius Watz. Yet two other prizes will announce the winners of this year’s distinctions. It’s Bombay Sapphire Designer Glass Competition that will announce the Swedish winner and representative in the global finals, early 2007. It’s also the foundation Carpe Vitam, in collaboration with Svensk Form and the Royal Institute of Technology, who gives out an annual scholarship on industrial design.
