| Kickstart Night at Nordic Light Hotel |
| FutureDesignDays’ first stop in 2008, the second year as Nomad, is the Light Now event in Stockholm. On Sunday evening the event started with the classic Kickstart Night at Nordic Light Hotel. Being on the 10th floor the skyline of Stockholm in general, and the five skyscrapers of Hötorget in particular made a beautiful fond. The skyscrapers of Hötorget nowadays also make a fantastic light design object being lit from top to toe, which of course was perfect for this Light Now kick off. Everyone seemed to enjoy each others company and the expectations of Monday’s conference was obvious. Most of the speakers also was there; Vesa Honkonen, Jan Ejhed, Alexander Lervik, Magnus Wästberg, and moderator Marcus Fairs to mention but a few. In the crowd we also met with FutureDesignDays Award winners like Monica Förster and the Front design group. |
