| Marnick Smeesaert – a provocative shot in the lighting business |
| The founder of the successful, Belgian lighting company Dark is Marnick Smeesaert. At Light Now he took place in the panel debate. His straight and honest views of lighting business were much appreciated. Starting by saying “We make lighting to love or hate” he got the full attention from the audience. When speaking about the good and bad about LED his conclusion was right on target “It’s still in the atmosphere of disco”. Once again the crowd exposed their approval. Together with Alexander Lervik, James Irvine, Vesa Honkonen, Magnus Wästberg and Jan Ejhed, moderated by Marcus Fairs, he made the panel debate a relaxed and enjoyable finish of the conference. |
