Home HISTORY Event 2004: FEAR
Spectacular creators enters the FutureDesignDays stage

Already last week we proudly presented the speakers at the Light Now event, the first stop of the FutureDesignDays Nomad in 2008. Notwithstanding that fact we once again will refresh your mind.

Did you know that the Finnish designer Vesa Honkonen is teaching design in China? Or that he, beside his lighting assignments, is rebuilding Stortorget in Östersund to become a Golden Plaza? He is also responsible for the reforming of Strandtorget at Nacka Strand. James Irvine is a well-known designer with a track record that is hard to beat. After his studies, he moved to Italy with no intention to stay. But he’s still there after more than 20 years! In February Irvine leaves for Sweden and the FutureDesignDays stage. Also Swedish professor of lighting, Jan Ejhed, is a good reason to attend the Light Now conference. Ejhed gained an even higher reputation outside of Sweden, even though his light fittings can be seen at the Museum of Modern Art in Stockholm as well as at the Electrolux head office. These gentlemen, and Magnus Wästberg makes the line-up for Light Now at Oscarsteatern in Stockholm 4 February.
