Mats Karlsson was awarded at the Forum AID Award ceremony, crowded as always, during Stockholm Design Week. He won the category of Interior Design, with his expandable and really flexible plastic room Xile. Already in 2004 Karlsson was one of the FutureDesignDays Award nominees, for the prototype of what has now become Xile. At that time it was all made of corrugated cardboard, and could be seen at the FutureDesigDays Expo.
